Zarzour is the first Syrian company to import and distribute organic rice in Syria.
In 2003, Zarzour started importing brown and white organic rice from Thailand exclusively from the Mea-Loy village in the Tung-Lor valley. The valley is located in the middle of a mountain's range in northern Thailand where fertile farm land and rain abound. In 2009, Zarzour started importing black rice from Thailand.
Zarzour organic rice grows in a natural environment.
It does not come in contact with any chemicals, such as fertilizers, or insecticides or any bleaching chemicals used when producing commercial non organic white rice.
Our organic rice has retained all its vitamins inside its peel. It is 100% free from chemicals as certified by the Independent Italian Institute of Quality Control in Thailand.

Zarzour organic brown, white and black rice are packed in vacuum sealed bags inside 1-kg carton boxes to maintain their quality. Our organic rice meets the specifications set by the European Union.
